Here are some suggestions to help you..
Make it work for you and your schedule.. Pick a time when it is quiet and you can study.
Grab a notebook and pen and take notes..
During our study time I also am going to be sharing some resources with you to help you in your studies. If you get off track or the reading is to much .. just print out or just mark your place and read what you can.. there are no laws that say you have to read the Bible in a year but there will be busy days and super quiet days but try to keep up if you can.

Notes - There is no way I will be able to share all right here or you won't finish the Bible ... but how about if I just share a few things and through the day , do as the Bible says Meditate in God's Word day and night (read the previous study on Psalm 1 in this blog) pray and think through what you read.
-We see here the start of Time
as God lives outside of time, God created the son and the moon.- We see the trinity involved in the creation of the World ... FATHER, Son, Holy Spirit -- Let's make man in OUR image. ... It blew my mind when I was a kid I didn't know even though I was raised in Church ... mom and Dad knew.. Kids just are busy playing and learning.. but I didn't know that Jesus was always in heaven and came down to earth to be born a baby... I heard it but it didn't sink in.. So Jesus was involved in the creation of the world.
- Firmament - It was like a great canopy ... a greenhouse effect.. man lived longer.. there was water above and beneath
- No evolution here.. animals, trees, etc.. all had seed within itself.. so you see the chicken will tell you it came first with the seed within itself
Okay... on to the next book... remember I told you I read my Bible a little different.. Revelations ! (The last book )

Ready or not ... the end is coming.. Just look around you... We see here the Lord Jesus judging the churches... He is the one with the feet of brass - a symbol of judgment. Judgement starts with the church and then on to the world. As the world is coming to a close we must be ever mindful to live 100% for the Lord.
There is a lot of symbolism here but read through anyway and pray and I will share that one of the best books I read on Revelations was by Chuck Smiith "What The World Is Coming To" .

chapter 1 - scoot back a few posts I just went through Psalm 1
We see in Psalm 2
sinful men wanting to do their own thing and break free of God... but God "laughs" at them ! They fight to be sinful and God just laughs He has his Son Jesus to rule the world.
vs 3-5
The ones who love God ... we see our tender love and dependency and care from God.. for He is our life... He is the One that we depend on.. He takes care of us.. and We love Him and as in Psalm 5 we pray and LOOK UP to Him for answers.
Last but not least we read in Proverbs chapter 1
so we will do well to study this book as we walk this earth to have our life and mouths filled with good common sense to "RULE" and "TAKE AUTHORITY" and possess whatever God has sent us to do. How wise to study the Word of God and to know it like the back of your hand.
Again we see here God laughing at all those foolish enough who don't want to be wise and just live according to their own way - God says when he sees them in trouble he won't come and laughs at them!
Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. - even though he was conceived in son God still used His life and David and Bathsheba. God is loving and merciful and there are murderers, child molesters, whores, and others who have repented and are closer to the Kingdom of God than some church people who sit with their nose in the air.. and then there are people in churches who desprately love the Lord and want to live for him 100% ... All said be among those who leave your past behind and live 100% for the Lord.
